Overview
This position opens to candidates within a two-hour drive of Cincinnati, Ohio. Applicants will travel to the Cincinnati office for monthly in-person meetings. The role involves providing category management and analytic support to assigned clients and customers, generating data and insights for category management projects and initiatives, including category reviews, new item presentations, scorecards, assortment/shelving, and ad‑hoc analytics.
Responsibilities- Provide analytical support for category management projects and initiatives using various CPG data sources and tools.
- Ensure quality control of data sources and deliverables, engaging with BI associates and vendor partners as needed.
- Build, update, and refresh weekly and monthly dashboards.
- Participate in developing sales presentations that incorporate syndicated and other data sources to address business issues.
- Collaborate closely with business managers to deliver quality results.
- Maintain awareness of clients’ KPIs, strategies, innovations, and other relevant information.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Up to one year of related work experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Windows applications such as Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI and advanced macros is a strong asset.
- Experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools is an asset.
- Drive for results with energy and goal orientation.
- Ability to apply basic math and CPG principles.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
