Receiving Clerk

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, documenting, stocking, and distributing incoming materials. This role requires a high level of accuracy, effective use of inventory and ERP systems, and strong organizational and communication skills.

• Operate forklifts and hand trucks in accordance with safety policies
• Assist with unloading shipments from delivery vehicles
• Open, inspect, and verify contents of incoming shipments
• Match shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices
• Accurately enter receiving data into the ERP system
• Identify, document, and report damaged, missing, or questionable items to the Supervisor and Purchasing
• Route materials to appropriate departments
• Maintain accurate receiving reports and documentation
• Monitor and process returned materials
• Participate in inventory counts and validation activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety rules and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Forklift Experience, Strong Computer Skills, Attention to Detail, Strong Math Skills, Strong Communication Skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies in packing slips, purchase orders, and shipments.

• Preferred 1-2 years warehouse/clerical experience.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
