Outdoor Kitchen Cook

Responsibilities

• OKC will be in charge of prepping, cooking and closing the outdoor kitchen station. Cooking will consist of grilling on a Blackstone; plans to expand offerings in the future may add frying or other items for the grill.
• OKC will follow all safety and food handling procedures and must have or be able to attain Serv Safe Certification within 6 months of hiring.
• OKC will keep the outdoor kitchen clean and neat and is responsible for opening and closing the outdoor kitchen during operating hours.
• OKC will clean and dry all dishes used daily/nightly and put them back in proper storage.
• OKC will keep managers informed of food inventory numbers for proper stocking and ordering.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be 16 or older to apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Must be able to work outdoors in hot and cold weather.
• Job consists of working 95% outdoors — covered area but not enclosed.
• Previous Cook Experience Preferred But Not Required.
• Must be able to work weekends — Friday 4-10;
  Saturday 9-7;
  Sunday 9-7 — there will be no weekday work.
• Must have excellent customer service skills as this position will be cooking and serving customers; this is a forward-facing position and not back of house.
• Must be able to work solo and in a team setting.
