In addition, we provide comprehensive hospitality solutions to our team and event partners with event staffing, event management, premium hospitality management and venue installations.
Position SummaryThe General Manager is responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability. Other duties include mentoring team members, setting performance objectives, and ensuring company standards are upheld.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales
- Full oversight of all revenue‑related activities (tailgates and event rentals), including goal setting, forecasting, and developing and executing sales strategies.
- Active participation in revenue generation through outbound and inbound sales, in‑person meetings, and community development initiatives.
- Owning and growing relationships with university partners across multiple departments.
- Developing and overseeing the guest communication plan for all tailgate and event rental clients.
- Building a team culture focused on poise, accountability, detail orientation and high hospitality standards.
- Maintaining an intimate familiarity with all financial records and key performance metrics to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable for all properties/operations under your purview, including tracking and reporting.
- Full ownership of pricing and discounts as approved by the Vice President.
- Providing consistent feedback on key performance metrics and company expectations to develop team members.
- Assisting with recruiting and corporate training when needed.
- Supporting company‑wide initiatives and encouraging adoption of processes and policies.
- Strategic planning and trend forecasting.
- Budget oversight.
- Ensuring compliance with company‑wide initiatives, processes and continuous improvements.
- Managing and improving current systems, including quality control, maintenance, inventory and process management.
- Event management – responsible for event layout, design assistance, and oversight of event operations; managing relationships with key vendors including rental, food and beverage partners.
- Asset management – overseeing all aspects related to facility management, warehouse and office organization, maintenance, pest control, fleet management, inventory maintenance and repair schedules.
- Budget oversight for all expense line items, including hourly labor, game‑day expenses and overall office expenditures.
- Public relations and communication – representing REVELXP in community relations with customers, university administration and athletic departments.
- Managing partner relationships with existing partners and key event rental clients.
- Attending community functions with executive management.
- Deliver tasks accurately, with attention to detail and follow‑up.
- Communicate professionally, accurately and promptly to resolve issues.
- Analyze and problem‑solve effectively and efficiently.
- Remain calm and effective in a fast‑paced environment.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
- Maintain confidentiality in all tasks.
- Exhibit high energy, a strong desire to achieve top results, and a charismatic, positive “can‑do” attitude.

- Maintain a positive attitude and openness to coaching and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar major and/or active progress toward a degree (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
- Knowledge of sports and the excitement surrounding in‑person events is a plus.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills in verbal and written forms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Five or more years of supervisory experience, with a demonstrated ability to coach team members.
