Job Summary

Supports the development and implementation of compensation, market, and titling analysis for the institution in alignment with institutional goals on total compensation.

Job Description
  • Provides professional assistance and consultation services in administering and maintaining pay policies and programs for employees.
  • Evaluates and classifies positions; assists in the evaluation of organizational needs and market trends; and assists in the development of new or enhanced job families and/or compensation programs as needed.
  • Assist in Administering and Maintaining Pay Policies and Programs.
  • Participate in salary surveys and provide reports based on salary data.
  • Evaluate and classify positions within the university's compensation structure
  • Continuously compare positions to market data and making recommendations as needed
  • Administer salary offers, compensation and classification adjustments
  • Conduct market benchmarking
  • Ensure compliance with FLSA and university compensation policies
  • Prepare reports and maintain compensation data in HR systems
  • Advise departments and HR partners on job classification and pay decisions
  • Train and support stakeholders on compensation tools and guidelines
