Facts about Baptist Pulmonary/Critical Care Group - Oxford, MS
- No critical care all required - physician would perform procedures in hospital and see patients in clinic setting
- Will perform navigational bronchoscopies with biopsy, thoracoscopy and EBUS
- Group will open lung nodule clinic to follow up on these patients
- 4 physicians currently - one is sleep certified
- 1 NP to assist with hospital rounds - looking to add an additional one soon
- 24 bed ICU, hospitalists in house 24/7
- E ICU for overnight and weekend patient coverage
- Work out of one hospital - Baptist North Mississippi - 217 beds
- See patients from 12 surrounding counties
- 10-year-old hospital, full spectrum of specialties, full time hospitalists in house
- Very busy oncologists nearby with great need for lung nodule patient appointments
- Great collaborative and collegial physicians and administrative team
