This position requires a CDL license with Tanker endorsement.

This position will operate the Asphalt Distributor on Road Construction projects.

• Must have a current CDL license, preferably with Tanker endorsement, and the ability to learn how to operate an Asphalt Distributor Truck.
• Set spray bar on manual, automatic, or semi‑automatic distributors for applying liquid asphalt.
• May oil, grease, service, as well as make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• The operator is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
• May perform other related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, adding or removing screed extensions.
• Must pass DOT physical/drug screen.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
