All about Target. Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. This role is On-Demand, with scheduling that varies based on shift availability and store needs. You can work as much or as little as you like, and you will create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app.

Reliability and attendance are essential, with minimum activity expectations to remain eligible for shifts.

As a Guest Advocate, you will focus on guest experience, digital and in-store services, and helping guests with loyalty programs, fulfillment services, and store operations while maintaining safety and policy compliance.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and assist with their needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Explain and promote Target benefits, offerings, and services; assist with enrollment or sign-up as needed.
• Deliver easy and accurate service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety and company practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; stock supplies during store open hours as needed.
• Handle cash operations as needed and support cash office processes.
• Support guest services and compliance with applicable policies, including adult beverage laws where relevant.
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest experience while following Target policies and procedures.
• Other duties based on business needs.
