Retail Supervisor

Overview

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for Entry Level Managers to fill a Full Time Retail Supervisor position at our Oxford Store located at 190 S. Washington, Oxford, Michigan.

Salary: $17 per hour with a 20% discount on in-store purchases.

The opportunity to learn Goodwill's Mission. Assist in the supervision of store staff. Open and close the store in the absence of the Store or Assistant Manager.

• Supervise and train store staff.
• Open and close the store according to policy and as directed.
• Assist with procedures related to the cash registers, returns and cash handling.
• Deliver good customer service.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Appropriately handle customer concerns/complaints.
• Stock and return merchandise per company directive.
• Maintain the overall appearance of the store, directing staff as needed.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable means of transportation and a Valid Driver's License.
• One year of general retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to use cash register and follow Goodwill policy and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong management skills.
• Can lift and carry 35 pounds with or without help.
• Can reach, bend or stoop.
• Able to stand six to eight hours a day.
• Problem solve quickly and efficiently.
• Be pleasant, cheerful and professional.
