Position: Motorcoach - Bus Operator (Owosso)

Motorcoach - Bus Operator

Indian Trails is looking for a full‑time Motorcoach - Bus Operator to join our team in Kalamazoo, Owosso, and Romulus, MI. You will get paid to travel, meet new people, and provide top‑tier customer service, all while driving one of the newest and largest fleets in Michigan. Start your journey earning $18/hour during training and $24/hour after training, with plenty of opportunities for growth.

Schedules will vary depending on routes and charter trips. Whether you’re driving a scheduled route or a private charter, each day will bring a new adventure. Training lasts 4-6 weeks, and you’ll be paid while earning your CDL B with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements if you don’t already have one.

Qualifications
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • CDL (A or

    B) with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements and an excellent driving record (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Ability to obtain and enhance a license or passport for travel outside the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Enjoyment of traveling, seeing new places, and meeting new people
  • Professional and courteous attitude when working with passengers
  • Must pass a DOT drug screen, breath alcohol test and physical
  • Must pass a criminal background check with no prior alcohol or drug related convictions and no felonies
Responsibilities
  • Drive the motorcoach, ensuring passengers arrive safely and comfortably at their destinations
  • Navigate routes, stay on schedule, and provide excellent customer service
  • Greet passengers, assist with luggage, and create a welcoming environment onboard
  • Cover accommodations and meals on multi‑day trips
