Cashier – Afternoon & Overnight Shifts Location: Owosso, MI (3 locations within Owosso)
Schedule: Afternoon & Overnight Shifts Available
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

About the Role
Hometown Markets is seeking dependable Cashiers to support afternoon and overnight operations. This role provides customer service, transaction support, and general store maintenance to ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide professional service
• Operate the register and process cash, credit, and digital payments
• Stock shelves, coolers, and front-of-store merchandise
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization
• Assist with food preparation, coffee stations, and daily tasks
• Follow safety and company procedures
• Support team members to ensure smooth operations

Overnight team members work alongside another associate during shifts.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to remain active throughout the shift
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Willingness to learn (no prior experience required; training provided)

Schedule Options
Afternoon Shifts:

• 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Overnight Shifts:

• 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
• 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Weekend availability may be required.
