Ryder is hiring Class A CDL truck drivers for a Driver Development Program in Owensboro, KY, targeting new CDL graduates with zero experience required. The role involves driving 53' dry van tractors (manual or automatic) delivering auto parts across OH, TN, IN, MO, and KY with weekly guaranteed pay, per-mile and stop/drop pay, and comprehensive benefits starting early. Candidates must be at least 21, pass DOT physical, drug/background checks and a Ryder road test, and hold a valid CDL Class

- Driver Positions Pay Weekly
- Weekly Minimum Guarantee During Training: $1050
- Weekly Minimum Guarantee After Training: $1385
- Miles Pay: $0.51 per Mile with 2500 Miles per Week
- Stops Pay: $11.00 per Stop
- Drop and Hook Pay: $6.00 per Drop/Hook
- CDL License is Required
- Company Paid Scale Bypass
Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

Requirements
- 9 months or less of CDL driving experience
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
- Ability to:
- Follow written and/or oral instructions
- Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
