Shift Leader #7530 at Five Star

The Shift Leader partners with the store management team to learn and assist with the overall operations of the store on an assigned shift, including customer service, food service, and marketing. They will assist in training and directing customer service representatives and will learn basic management duties.

• Proficient in all customer service representative job responsibilities.
• Practices and promotes the Five Star treatment (friendly atmosphere, customers’ needs met, suggestive selling).
• Partners with the Five Star team to provide customers with service as outlined by company policies and procedures.
• Assists in timely and thorough trainingדע of customer service representatives.
• Assists in educating the store team on policies and communications.
• Assists the store management team in ensuring inventory control methods are in place, equipment is in вспом good condition, and safety and robbery prevention guidelines are followed.
• Partners with store management to assure quality food operation.
• Follows up with store employees on communications, including emails, weekly and monthly specials, and company-wide programs.
• Responsible for merchandising, including evaluating displays, pricing, and promotional signage.
• Educates store employees.

• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Team player, customer focused, honest, hardworking, and possesses excellent attendance.
• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to work on different shifts (a.m., p.m., overnight), weekends, and holidays.
• Daily standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, climbing, walking, and lifting (up to 55 lbs.), working in cold indoor environments (35 °F or less), and food service preparation.
• Ability to work in varying seasonal weather conditions.
• Basic computer skills.
