Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

  • Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
  • Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns

  • Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
  • When guests need assistance, engage with them to help solve their specific needs
  • Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
  • Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve the guest experience
  • Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
  • Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
  • Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
  • Explain how to use Target App features and offerings, including Wallet
  • Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features
  • Assist with returns following register prompts and partner with leaders as needed, while following Target’s policies
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area; manage unpurchased items, baskets and hangers
  • Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards and correct where possible
  • Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns while maintaining compliance with laws
  • All other duties based on business needs

  • Capability to operate technology, handheld scanners and other equipment
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Basic Requirements
  • Accurate checkout operations and support for cash office as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
  • Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays) with reliable attendance
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of shifts
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.)
