Job Details:

• Night shift position for the Observation Medical Unit (essentially a Med Surg Unit)

• Work on a 24-bed unit focusing on observational care for various diagnoses requiring additional diagnostic testing and monitoring

• Care for cardiac, respiratory, and general medical patients as the majority of patient population

• Provide care for COVID positive symptomatic patients, manage titratable cardiac drips, and handle patients from post-procedural and outpatient infusion areas in overflow capacity

• EPIC experience is required

• 2 years previous med-surg experience preferred

• Kentucky license or COMPACT license required

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• IV certification is preferred

• Diploma in Nursing, Associate's degree in Nursing, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required

• Cannot apply if previously employed permanently at Owensboro or Twin Lakes within the last 10 years

• Work in a team atmosphere providing excellent patient care
