Position Summary
Eventus Whole Health delivers an integrated model of care to adults who reside in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants and in‑house support staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise and collaborate with a tightly integrated team of primary care and mental health providers that delivers care to patients in long‑term care settings.
- Provide much‑needed psychiatric services to a vulnerable population within an integrated and comprehensive care model.
- Lead a team of midlevel providers and collaborate with psychotherapists in implementing best practices, while enjoying leadership and teaching opportunities.
- Practice psychiatry based on patient needs and clinical judgement, delivering care to patients where they live, free from the constraints of a traditional outpatient setting.
- Board Certified in Psychiatry with all NC practicing privileges.
- Geriatric experience preferred.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
