Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

This position involves technically supporting various mills in the Kentucky area. This employee will be working with local Solenis teams. In this position the employee will be trained to conduct lab testing, repair and install chemical feed equipment, input numbers into Excel, inventory control, chemical transfers, and maintain a positive customer (mill personnel) relationship.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in an industrial environment: short term exposure to hot and cold areas, industrial noise wearing ear protection (ear plugs), etc.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Plumbing, mechanical, or electrical skills; knowledge and ability in at least one of these areas. On the job training will be conducted.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel) is preferred, but can be trained on the job.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills. There will be team support to help.
- High safety awareness – Ability to complete safety training, follow safety policies and work in a safety-oriented manner. Team player.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $51,800.00 and $86,300.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
