Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview

Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sam's Club. Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr the hourly wage range is as stated; actual pay is based on skills and experience.

The role focuses on maintenance of facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment for members and associates, including parking lots, restrooms, floors, and other areas as needed. The position involves standing and moving for extended periods and maintaining a positive attitude to ensure a great member experience.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary
• Ensure customers have a great first and last impression
• Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of facilities (e.g., floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program
• Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders when low

Maintain facility safety by following all safety standards and procedures, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposal of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management.

Work includes cleaning all facility areas (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) per company guidelines and with approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.

Support a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates, respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and manage waste in line with the Environmental Sustainability Program.
