PayBase salary range: $49,000 – $55,000 per year. Starting pay is based on licensure and experience: non‑independently licensed applicants receive $49,000; independently licensed applicants receive $55,000.
Job DescriptionProvide behavioral health assessments, diagnostics, and clinical treatment for mental health and/or substance use/abuse for children, adults, and families. Develop treatment plans, maintain client records, and build therapeutic relationships to help clients achieve personal goals.
Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of clients, documenting progress and completing required paperwork.
- Engage in family, individual, and group counseling, skill training, and education programs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Demonstrate flexibility and competence with diverse populations and complex psychological presentations.
- Participate in Kentucky United Methodist Homes training; attend staff and team meetings.
- Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Uphold professional ethics and promote high standards of practice.
- Perform home‑based therapy as needed to support clients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current Professional License from a Kentucky professional board (LPCA, LPCC, LCADC, LCSW, MFTA, LMFT, etc.)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a related licensure field; independently licensed required.
