Join our team as a Mobile Crisis Therapist and make a direct impact in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health crises. In this fast-paced, rewarding role, you’ll provide immediate intervention, stabilization, and connection to resources right where they’re needed most. This position offers the opportunity to work in the community, collaborate with law enforcement, hospitals, and other partners, and ensure individuals in crisis receive compassionate, person-centered care.

Essential Functions
  • Ethics:
  • Provide direct care intervention services to clients in accordance with acceptable ethical principles and practices within the fields of Behavioral Health.
  • Relations with Employee, Consumer, & Community Partners:
  • facilitate a training and/or participate in community event
  • treat consumers with dignity and respect
  • interact with employees and community partners in a professional and respectful manner, and be an advocate for consumers through and with these interactions.
  • Consult with other therapists, physicians, and management regarding clients as needed:
  • participate in staffing's minimum of 2 hours/month
  • remain current on requirements for cases staffed-With 90% accuracy as observed by management and client survey.
  • Ensure that all documentation regarding the treatment services provided is documented in accordance with professional, ethical standards and principles and in conjunction with policies and procedures in this area. 90-95% determined by review of the medical records.

  • Adhere to the applicable core functions- medical records, deficiency lists, case loads, and case reviews have 90-95% compliance rate.
  • Professional Development:
  • Complete annual training per training profile requirements for position as maintained by the HR/Training Department
  • Ensure required continuing education and licensing requirements are met as required by state boards of the respective disciplines of the agency. 100% accuracy required and determined by submission of attendance and recertification documentation.
  • Clinical supervision:
  • Clinical supervises
  • Receive clinical supervision as required by Professional Board of State and per Organization’s policy
  • Safety:
  • Maintain a safe work environment as evidenced by:
  • acting in accordance with safety rules as part of clinical practice
  • set up office in a safe manner
  • make others aware of difficult clients/sessions
  • report unsafe conditions to management
  • keep clients safe
  • follow company protocol and practices
  • report incidents to DCBS or appropriate entity as required
  • Assist in all emergency situations as needed to ensure quality care to all clients in crisis. 95% accuracy required as determined by management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in human services or health-related field (including, but not limited to counseling, social work, psychology, etc.)
  • Certification or licensure as required by the Kentucky state board of the appropriate discipline to provide clinical services (i.e., CADC,CSW, LPCA, LPA, LPCC, LCSW, LPP, PsyD, PhD, LCADC, LMFT, etc.)
  • Any candidate who can meet state requirements to provide clinical services within their field will be considered.

Knowledge and

Skills:

  • Excellent clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and treatment planning.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with the public.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with all clients and staff.
  • Must exhibit consistent mental and emotional ability to understand and perform the essential functions of the job
