Physical Therapy Manager'sPurpose:
To be responsible for Physical Therapy staff and ensure the department provides a complete therapeutic process that grows minds, bodies, and spirits.
As a Physical Therapy Manager at Thera Tree you can be a remarkable contribution to a child’s life.
Responsibilities of a Physical Therapy Manager:
Responsible for Physical Therapists & Physical Therapist Assistants performing skilled therapeutic services are performed within each clinician's scope of practice. Including:
- Screening & Evaluation for Physical Therapy
- Administer and interpret standardized assessments that identify deficits related to strength, endurance, pain/injury, balance, motor coordination, gait/mobility, nervous system, cardio pulmonary function, developmental milestones, orthotics/prosthetics, and adaptive equipment.
- Establish and update plans of care for Physical Therapy.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants.
- Make progress with patients directly and indirectly through physical therapy treatment with home education programs.
- Reassess and re-evaluate progress that leads to discharge for all goals met.
- Celebrate patient success such that they are an inspiration for others!
Educate the public on how Physical Therapy helps, such that the community sees help is available and possible.
Support the whole child with our complimentary multidisciplinary team approach.
Empowers clinicians through management. Assists with Therapist Assistant supervision as needed.
Maintain a prorated caseload relative to the quantity of staff directly supervising.
Contributes to other divisions in the company including:
Human Resources, Client Services, Finance, Quality, Community, Executive.
Attends meetings and presents on managed products, sub-products, statistics, and sub-statistics. Sets weekly, monthly, and annual targets to ensure annual goals are met.
Physical Therapy ManagerQualifications:
- Efficiency without giving up Effectiveness with your time.
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by CAPTE.
- Initial certification obtained from the The Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist as required in the state of Kentucky.
- Exceptionally skilled and respected licensed physical therapist who can supervise others.
- Personally aligned with accomplishing organizational goals through a team as your greatest purpose (required).
- Engaging and accurate verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills with adults and children alike.
- Able to confront difficult situations and resolves them.
- Thrives working in a fast paced environment.
