Reporting to the Environmental Services Supervisor, students are responsible for assisting with trail management and forest conservation initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Contract Duration: 16 weeks, May to August 2026

Education & Experience

• Enrolled in a post‑secondary education for fall, preference for enrollment in Forestry, Environmental, Trails programing or related field

Skills & Abilities

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift heavy materials up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to use and troubleshoot small engine equipment (e.g. lawn mower, grass trimmer)
• Mature, safety conscious attitude
• Confidence to ask questions and seek clarification when directions or tasks are unclear
• Valid Class G Driver’s License

• Competitive Salary: $18.10 per hour
• Hours per week: 35
• Vacation pay
