WhatYou’ll Do
Reporting to the Environmental Services Supervisor, students are responsible for assisting with trail management and forest conservation initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Contract Duration: 16 weeks, May to August 2026
What We’re Looking ForEducation & Experience
- Enrolled in a post‑secondary education for fall, preference for enrollment in Forestry, Environmental, Trails programing or related field
Skills & Abilities
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift heavy materials up to 30 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to use and troubleshoot small engine equipment (e.g. lawn mower, grass trimmer)
- Mature, safety conscious attitude
- Confidence to ask questions and seek clarification when directions or tasks are unclear
- Valid Class G Driver’s License
- Competitive Salary: $18.10 per hour
- Hours per week: 35
- Vacation pay
- OMERS pension with equal employer match
