The Production Analyst plays a critical role in managing customer orders, coordinating logistics, maintaining accurate product labeling, and supporting production planning. This role ensures smooth operations across frozen and fresh product lines, and supports compliance with shipping and labeling standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Order Management & Customer Coordination
- Manage frozen product orders and coordinate directly with customers.
- Enter orders into the JDE system accurately and timely.
- Communicate with fresh product customers regarding availability, revisions, and load planning.
Labeling & Compliance
- Review and revamp case labels for consistency and clarity.
- Ensure labels meet U.S. shipping requirements and are easily identifiable in the manufacturing system.
Production Planning & Forecasting
- Track further processing orders and calculate raw material requirements.
- Compare internal estimates with processor requirements and plan ahead for material needs.
- Collaborate with procurement to secure additional raw materials when needed.
- Manage frozen product forecasts using JDE or other systems, comparing forecasts to actual orders and coordinating with planning for adjustments.
Product & Customer Setup
- Request new product codes by completing documentation and liaising with corporate.
- Handle new customer setup requests, including submitting files to Finance.
Scheduling & Logistics
- Coordinate scheduling with other production facilities, including PO submissions and truck arrangements.
- Coordinate shipments from all production facilities to industry partners and ensure timely execution.
Administrative Duties
- Perform CHEP administration including transfers and paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Experience with JDE or similar ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work proactively.
- 5 years experience with logistics, production planning, and labeling compliance is an asset.
