Huber Supply is seeking a motivated and reliable individual for a hybrid position that includes propane filling, inside counter sales, and local "hot run" deliveries. This role is critical to supporting our customers in a timely, safe, and customer-service-oriented manner. You will be part of a tight-knit branch team that provides welding gases, propane, welding supplies, and industrial products to our growing customer base.

• Fill customer and company propane cylinders according to DOT and company safety standards - Fill customer and company dewars with cryogenic liquids, including oxygen, argon, and nitrogen - Perform leak checks and ensure accurate labeling and documentation
• Maintain propane and cryogenic fill areas to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
• Assist with tracking inventory and tank counts for both propane and cryogenic gases

• Assist walk-in customers with product selection, order entry, and payment processing
• Answer phones, provide quotes, and take orders accurately in our ERP system (Epicor Prophet 21) - Build customer relationships by providing product knowledge and timely service
• Assist with stocking, pricing, and maintaining the retail area

• Make local emergency or same-day product/gas deliveries to customers as needed ("hot runs") - Operate company vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to DOT and company driving policies - Load/unload product including welding cylinders, boxes, and other supplies
• Communicate effectively with the branch and customers during runs

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs and move cylinders using a hand cart - Strong attention to safety and detail
• Positive, customer-first attitude and strong communication skills
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification and propane/cryogenic filling training (provided) - CDL Class B with hazmat endorsement is a plus (but not required initially)

• Mostly onsite at the Owatonna branch with regular outdoor activity (propane and cryogenic stations, deliveries)
• Exposure to industrial gases, heavy lifting, and warehouse conditions
• Fast-paced, team-driven environment with direct customer interaction
