This role will maintain a high level of inventory accuracy through monitoring and verification activities. Maintain precise and up-to-date computerized inventory records. Support the development, refinement, and continuous improvement of inventory management processes. Document all processes and procedures thoroughly and conduct regular audits of inventory transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and process integrity.
EssentialJob Duties:
Assist in the design and development of effective inventory control procedures.
Work cross functionally with all Maintenance shops.
Accurately maintain computer records of all goods received on a daily basis.
Set up and maintain physical plant inventory locations.
Perform and evaluate inventory transaction and report inconsistencies. Generate weekly reports.
Generate work orders on a weekly basis and sort them by department.
Pick up parts from OEM suppliers as needed.
May assist with coordination of maintenance cycle counts.
Performs duties in accordance with the Business Process Documentation.
AdditionalJob Duties:
Continuously organize and keep track of parts in stock.
Work well with the maintenance personal.
Use department credit card for miscellaneous items.
Work closely with accounts payable.
Make sure all purchase orders are properly filled out in 7I.
Work on 7I problems.
Train other employees on 7I inventory program.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent GED.
Computer proficiency.
Detail oriented
Excellent organizational skills.
3 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge of maintenance tools, parts and supplies.
Proven ability to work effectively independently and in cross-functional teams. Ability to read and understand work instructions (English).
Familiar with operating power tools.
Ability to take supervision.
Regular full-time attendance.
