We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Minnesota and Iowa to work Monday‑Thursday, daytime hours. The position involves driving the mobile unit and performing patient studies in Owatonna and New Prague, MN and Decorah and Charles City, IA.
ScheduleMonday: Owatonna
Tuesday: New Prague
Every other Wednesday: Charles City or Owatonna
Thursday: Decorah
Essential DutiesIn addition to patient care, mobile nuclear medicine technologists drive the mobile unit to customer locations. Technologists maintain the truck, checking and maintaining fire extinguishers, patient lift, smoke detectors, emergency lighting, scheduling and documenting preventive maintenance. Technologists inspect the truck before and after each trip and submit a report indicating truck conditions. Technologists maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management, analytical, organizational, empathy, critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to multi‑task while maintaining great patient care and superior quality of exams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work well independently with limited direct supervision.
- PC proficiency to access internet websites, review online documentation and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
- CNMT or ARRT (N)
- CPR certified
- CDL B endorsement and DOT annual physical certification
- Mandatory education provided by DMS
- State licensure if required
MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella);
Varicella (Chickenpox);
Hepatitis B Series;
Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis); annual Influenza vaccine; COVID‑19 vaccination, if required by facility policy;
Tuberculosis screening (annual or per facility guidelines).

- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
