Overview

Nuclear Medicine Technologist 4 Days/Week! /hour. 4 Day Work Week with daytime hours; no nights, weekends, holidays or on-call schedules. $10,000 signing bonus.

We offer an excellent compensation package: $55.00-$60.00/hour plus an annual profit-share bonus of 4%, paid the hourly rate door-to-door for mobile positions, mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate (except for 60 miles per trip), cell phone stipend, clothing allowance and more. We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Minnesota and Iowa to work Monday-Thursday, daytime hours. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will drive the mobile unit and perform patient studies in Owatonna and New Prague, MN and Decorah and Charles City, IA.

Schedule by location:
Monday – Owatonna;
Tuesday – New Prague;
Every other Wednesday – Charles City or Owatonna;
Thursday – Decorah. The standard work week is five days (Monday-Friday) with potential shift changes to provide backup coverage as needed.

• Performs imaging procedures that meet the quality expectations of the patient, referring physician, and radiologist.
• Follows orders of the referring physician and protocols specified by the radiologist.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed by the physician order.
• Views images to ensure quality and transfers images to the radiologist for interpretation, verifying accuracy of patient information.
• Explains medical procedures to patients and answers questions.
• Follows safety procedures to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Monitors and observes any unusual reactions to drugs.
• Maintains detailed procedural records.
• Complies with safety and quality procedures and initiatives; supports continuous improvements in safety and promptly reports hazards or injuries.
• Travel up to 100% of the time and perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine.
• Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, organizational, empathetic, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining high-quality patient care and exams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• PC proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

• CNMT or ARRT (N); CPR certified; CDL B endorsement and DOT annual physical certification; mandatory education provided by DMS; TB, state licensure if required; vaccinations as required (Flu, Covid, Hep

• Stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel and crawl; climb stairs.
• Push and pull wheelchairs; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
