Description
Position Objective:
Precision Agronomy Specialists will demonstrate full command of all systems that Central Advantage utilizes.
- Complete all aspects of Central Advantage service.
- Write variable rate seed and fertilizer recommendations.
- Serve as a trusted agronomic advisor to growers by analyzing their correlations to yield so they can make data-based crop decisions.
- Help growers create a crop plan each year.
- Update equipment monitors, load variable rate recommendations, and troubleshoot as part of precision technology support.
- Collect all crop input applications from growers and enter them into the Central Advantage Program.
- Follow data entry protocols to ensure accurate results are delivered for both individual grower reports and group correlations.
- Deliver a consistent grower experience across 30,000 to 45,000 acres.
- Complete all aspects of Nitrate Now service.
- Write variable rate nitrogen recommendation.
- Load recommendations into equipment monitors and provide support.
- Continually expand all programs through prospecting.
- Build and maintain relationships with growers through interaction throughout all key times of year.
- Know and follow all company safety policies/procedures. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations.
- Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
- Make decisions and follow instructions with little or no supervision.
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management.

- Degree in Agronomy, Crop Sciences, Agricultural Business, Precision Agriculture or equivalent job experience.
- Successfully communicate across multiple means (written, oral, nonverbal, digital).
- Take a collaborative approach to grower service.

- Lifelong learning mentality.
- Positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Will obtain Class A license to pull weigh wagon, CFS will assist.
60% of time spent customer-facing, 40% data/computer work. Customer-facing time will vary between office, field and remote locations.
