You will be a Team Member, Expert, Techie, Owner and Talent Ambassador in the meat department, collaborating with others to build a strong meat team and delivering high-quality service:

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards; maintains product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages usage.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains operational excellence and work area per company policies; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures packaging, labeling, and storage comply with company policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; uses Open Door Policy and applies these in business processes.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; seeks improvements and adapts to change and feedback.
