• Bailey Medical Center offers a full range of medical services, including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics and emergency care. The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region.

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents patient care, including patient education, for all age groups, pediatric, adult and geriatric, peri‑operative, and postoperative periods of the patient’s surgical experience.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment, observe and enforces policies, procedures and practices of the Department of Surgical Services and the institution.
• Uses the installed computer systems to support and augment services. Requires flexible hours in order to staff the unit.
• Covers mandatory call with a 20-minute response time.
• The Registered Nurse may make decisions to delegate appropriate nursing tasks to other staff members based upon individual patient need and staff qualifications.

Job Requirements:

• ADN or BSN
• Oklahoma or applicable Multi‑state RN license
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• ACLS (within 30 days of hire)
• PALS (within 30 days of hire)

Preferred

Job Requirements:

• One (1) year in a surgical setting
