Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

* Operate a backhoe or shovel to dig for sewer, water, and gas line repairs or new installations

* Break concrete and prepare areas for digging

* Assist technicians with repair work on-site

* Backfill serviced areas, clean up, seed, and restore job sites

* Remove old sewer lines and check line flow before completing jobs

* Obtain customer approvals for work performed

* Maintain and fuel the service vehicle and ensure proper truck stocking

* Transport materials and tools and track tool usage

* Complete required documentation on services provided and handle any customer payments as needed

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

* Heavy equipment operator experience or equivalent training

* Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

* Strong communication and customer service skills

* Ability to work safely and efficiently on job sites
