This role will have a hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Offices are located in:
Frisco, TX;
Houston, TX;
Overland Park, KS;
Greenwood, CO.

• Supports Commercial Underwriting in the sales acquisition process. Provides support for new business and renewal policy account coordination, review, essential services, rating, and prepares work orders for quoting and issuance of middle market business.
• Serves as the point of contact for agents in handling inquiries and requests.
• Communicates with customers to request needed information and resolves problems.
• Supports sales efforts and strategies.

• Handles high volumes of transactions while balancing quality and timeliness.
• Manages a book of business, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organizing daily work activities based on AM/UW huddles and territorial differences.
• Maintains an effective pending/diary/follow-up system.

• Stays current on industry and marketplace trends, strategic direction, and internal initiatives.
• Understands and aligns own work plans and activities to fulfill all commitments within established time frames.
• Manages own time and workload efficiently, balancing multiple priorities.
• Identifies benefits and opportunities of change and quickly alters approaches to implement change efforts.
• Modifies own work activities and methods to eliminate waste and inefficiency.
• Attends regional office meetings to understand priorities and works hand in hand with the Underwriter to achieve regional office goals.
• Pursues self‑development by constantly seeking opportunities to learn and acquire new skills.
• Demonstrates professionalism and establishes credibility and rapport in all customer interactions.
• Serves as the single point of contact for agents on service‑related/problem resolution.
• Listens carefully and asks probing questions to understand others’ needs or perspectives.
• Speaks clearly and concisely to effectively convey information or express opinions.
• Quickly comprehends written information and writes effective letters, emails, and reports.

• Prior commercial market insurance industry experience as an account manager, rater (or similar) at an insurance carrier or agency.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation, auto, general liability, and property coverage.
• Functional knowledge of commercial lines rating experience.
• Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Effective communication skills – written and verbal.
• Good automation skills and strong technical ability.
• Professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Works autonomously and shifts work efforts quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

The listed annualized base pay range is: $59,200 – $88,800
.
