Compensation Package: Competitive base range $90,000‑$120,000, uncapped commission, bonuses, stock options, benefits, 401(k), and more. Specific offers within the listed pay ranges are determined by experience, education, skills, certifications and business needs.
Responsibilities- Lead a direct sales team of 7‑10 Regional, National, and Global Account Managers.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and exceed the assigned team quota.
- Guide the team through direct customer contact, focusing on the sale of DIA, Ethernet, colocation and IP transit to SMB, corporate and enterprise segments.
- Drive, meet and exceed sales revenue and productivity objectives.
- Manage pipeline and ensure efficient utilization of each rep’s resources.
- Strong motivation, drive, and work ethic.
- Proven track record of success selling Cogent’s product set and finding new business.
- Experience in team leadership, coaching, and management.
- College degree preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and PC applications such as Word and Excel.
- Some travel required.
