The primary purpose of the Assistant Manager is to help the Store Manager to ensure the highest level of service to both internal and external customers. The Assistant Store Manager will assist the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, prompt and friendly customer service, as well as a clean, fully stocked location. The Assistant Store Manager is also responsible for the store's profitability, payroll control, and margin of the location.

• To treat customers as guests with respect and courtesy while providing them with quick, friendly service. This includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, and solid product knowledge.
• Analyze and measure business trends, develop and implement plans to maximize sales, and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
• Ensures appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise adjacencies and presentations, signing and assortment in all departments, and ensures the selling floor is adequately stocked.
• Ensures compliance with all laws, policies, and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, and store audits.
• Continually evaluates and reacts to performance issues.
• Ability to process information and merchandise through the computer system and the POS register system.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.
• 3-5 years of previous management experience required, preferably in a Supermarket environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
