Nurse Extern Student Nurse – Menorah Medical Center

Join our Student Nurse Externship program where flexibility and hands‑on experience meet. You will work under RN supervision, providing basic patient care, shadowing, and preparing for a future graduate nurse role.

This role delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to nursing functions and daily living. You will work in a clean, organized, and safe environment.

• Perform delegated basic patient care services under RN supervision.
• Assist nursing staff with patient care in accordance with your training and department needs.
• Maintain a clean, well‑organized, safe patient care environment.
• Participate in shadow time on additional units; earn paid shadow time for each 24 hours worked.
• Support the patient care team and provide assistance as needed.

• Actively enrolled in an accredited nursing program and have completed Nursing Fundamentals.
• Must be in good standing; high‑level procedures will be performed after competency.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be in a Nursing Fundamentals class or have completed it; no exceptions.
