Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and flexible Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Unit. This role supports fluctuating patient census and requires adaptability, including floating and managing a team of MSU patients as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Medical-Surgical Unit
- Safely manage patient assignments, including floating based on census needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all clinical standards, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state-specific requirements apply)
- BLS and ACLS required
- Ability to float and adapt to changing patient census
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Additional Details:
- No on-call requirement
- Consistent schedule with every other weekend rotation
