Adecco Health Care & Life Sciences is conducting a search for an experienced Director of Women’s Services to support a large, high-acuity acute care hospital.
Schedule & Compensation- Shift: Day
- Pay Range: $48.04 – $72.05 per hour (commensurate with years of experience)
Under the general direction of senior nursing leadership, the Director of Women’s Services provides strategic and operational leadership with 24/7 accountability for assigned service lines. This role partners closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory compliance and fiscal responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight for Women’s Services departments, including labor and delivery and related units
- Oversee assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care delivery
- Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to support patient, family, and staff needs
- Manage staffing, budgets, and resources in a fiscally responsible manner
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards
- Support organizational mission, values, and performance goals
- Minimum 5 years of recent (within the past year) leadership experience as a Nurse Manager or Director in a large acute care hospital
- Required: Women’s Services leadership experience in a high-acuity setting with 3,500+ annual births
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required;
BSN preferred - Active RN license in the state of practice and/or active compact license
- Specialty certification preferred
- Strong oral and written communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain BCLS certification
