Reporting to the Chief Human Resource Officer, the Director, Total Rewards will function as a key member of the HR leadership team with all responsibility for the Compensation and Benefits functions. The role will lead and manage broad-based and equity compensation, executive compensation, and benefits programs. The position will work with corporate leadership to understand business objectives and identify corresponding human resource needs and HR strategies.
EssentialJob Functions

Act as an internal subject matter expert on compensation and benefits practices.
Develop a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives.
Lead the design, implementation, and administration of the organization's compensation programs.
Collaborate with management to ensure pay equity within the organization.
Monitor and evaluate industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the organization's benefits packages are market competitive and compliant.
Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs and make recommendations.
Develop communication strategies that effectively educate employees about total rewards programs.
Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants.
Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams on SEC reportable events to ensure programs and events are legally compliant.
Coordinate and lead the preparation of the CD&A, executive and director compensation tables, stock ownership tables, proxy, governance matters and plan amendments.
Prepare and present materials for Compensation Committee meetings.
Work on ad hoc projects with a focus on automating processes, streamlining workflow, and challenging legacy procedures.
Required Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience working with benefits and compensation (broad-based, equity & executive).
Financial related equivalent experience with strong analytical skills considered.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Successful HR and Total Rewards programs, strategies, and practices experience.
Knowledge of accounting standard practices.
Knowledge of compensation principles and FLSA status.
Experience administering a deferred compensation plan and preparing proxy.
Excellent analytical skills combined with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience working for a publicly traded company.
Experience working with stock plan administrator equity programs, especially Share works.
Proactive, self-starting, and strategic thinker.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Process oriented and ability to document processes with the ability to achieve goals of multiple overlapping deadlines.
Ability to solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
Contribute to the development of functional strategy.
Lead projects with broad visibility and objectives.
