Maintenance Assistant

Tutera Senior Living and Health Care is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Overland Park, KS. If you are dedicated, compassionate, and passionate about working with seniors, we want you!

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance in accordance with federal, state and local ordinances, regulations and building codes. You will assist in the maintenance of the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Prior maintenance experience required
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
