Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This position offers the opportunity to work with a respected law firm specializing in real estate law and mortgage lending. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks with precision while maintaining excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

- Support attorneys and staff by reviewing loan documents, entering data, drafting legal documents, and filing necessary paperwork with the court.

- Coordinate with various parties to gather required information for case progression.

- Monitor filings related to bankruptcy, military status, and death to ensure compliance with case standards.

- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide updates on case developments.

- Maintain accurate documentation in case management systems and ensure all records are current.

- Manage deadlines and timelines to meet client and court requirements.

- Collaborate effectively with team members and external vendors to streamline case management processes.

- Perform quality checks to ensure thoroughness and accuracy of all legal work.

- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to foreclosure and real estate matters.

Requirements

- Minimum of 1 year experience in legal support or paralegal work.

- Strong knowledge of civil litigation, foreclosure processes, and real estate law.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with case management software.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under time constraints.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Flexibility to adapt to changes in workflow and case demands.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Commitment to delivering high-quality work and outstanding client service.
