Our client is seeking a seasoned Commercial Multi-Line Underwriter to join their niche division based in Overland Park, Kansas. This is a unique opportunity to manage and grow a diverse book of business while leveraging your expertise in multi-line Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and manage a book of business focused on commercial transportation, inland marine, property, GL and other lines of business
• Evaluate risk exposures across multiple lines of P&C insurance and ensure profitability through disciplined underwriting practices.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the Moving and Storage sector, aligning with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients’ needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-line P&C risk management, with a proven track record of managing and growing a book of business.
• Multi-line experience with some Commercial Auto / Transportation knowledge/experience
• Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
