The Production (Producing) Underwriter is responsible for underwriting and marketing accounts throughout approved states/territories. Develop new business, manage assigned agencies, select advantageous risks and build a profitable portfolio of accounts. Represent the Amynta Group and meet with identified insurance agencies to develop relationships with the agents and promote your company's products and services. Work with the underwriting department to analyze the financial risk of applicants that come in through that agency and determine if they qualify for coverage.

Monitor loss ratios for Carriers and Agents and take corrective action when possible to remain profitable. Regularly make marketing presentations to prospective clients. Manage and develop agent performance and the book of business through personal analysis. Analyze information in insurance applications, supplemental reports, studies, data and related information in order to determine if a risk meets acceptable criteria.

The Production Underwriter is responsible for underwriting and marketing accounts throughout approved states/territories. The Production Underwriter is a key part of the production underwriting capabilities of Amynta Dealer Solutions. This position will report to the VP, Amynta Dealer Solutions and job grade will be based on experience and capabilities. The Production underwriter will own the results of their book of business and will engage in activities tied to risk selection and to customer service.

Amynta Dealer Solutions is Amynta’s leading dealer program offering a full suite of industry leading property, casualty and specialty products for dealerships within multiple industry verticals. Our team is growing, and we are looking for individuals with insurance experience or the right passion for taking care of customers.  The Production Underwriter role can be filled by individuals with experience as account managers, or underwriters with experience on the carrier, MGA/MGU or agent side.

*** Production underwriter owns the results of their book of business and will be compensated on annual and long-term profitability.

* Lead in the education of the broker market on the products in a way that creates a need to buy, highlights our competitive differentiation, illustrate the need for service led products to grow the brand and facilitate the placement of new business with Beazley with a particular focus on new relationships.
