VacMaster Service Representative

The Vacmaster Service Representative position plays an integral part in the customer service experience by providing training and trouble-shooting tips for our vacuum packaging machines used in the field.

• Primarily responsible for maintaining, modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing Vacmaster vacuum packaging and bag sealing machines.
• Perform end-user interactions over the phone, video conference calls, facetime and in person calls while building strong customer relations and brand recognition.
• Provide additional technical support for independent service dealers for field repairs and calls.
• Outline best maintenance practices for end-users to ensure machine longevity and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with other technical support team members, management and staff for open door communications and support of Company Policies and Procedures.
• Support Vacmaster repair or replace warranty policies for issuing return authorizations and return shipper labels for end-users requiring repairs.
• Assist in selling Vacmaster machines and products to end-users for a wide range of cooking and food storage applications.
• Take orders, answer calls, and work with customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Read and comprehend wiring diagrams, machine manuals, parts descriptions for investigating problems with machines and related parts.
• Understand basic electrical practices, theory and safety for machines and end-users.
• Work independently without direct supervision and take responsibility for in-house and field repairs scheduling and coordination with end-users.
• Possess strong ability to prioritize assigned tasks for increased job delivery.
• Assist in daily order entry and related customer service functions.
• Mechanically inclined

• Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
