POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior IT Business Analyst will help develop and adapt the vision of the applications that support the customers and operations of Smart Warehousing. The Senior IT Business Analyst will work closely with the larger organization, other Business Analysts, Product Director, CIO, IT Leadership, and business stakeholders to deliver software solutions to meet the needs of the business. The right candidate will have a strong systems design background and the ability to make decisions that support our long-term business goals.
Responsible for the success of solutions by helping to maximize the output of the development team within the established delivery process. Responsible for helping to prioritize the backlog and clearly expressing the business value of backlog items to the Engineering Team. This role will also lead collaboration, help facilitate delivery activities, and help create and communicate requirements artifacts that translate business needs into executable requirements.
Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand, analyze, refine, prioritize, and communicate needs to ensure full understanding of project scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Lead the delivery of quality solutions based on the overall vision and direction of the operational tool set of applications including Smart Visibility and SWIMS (proprietary cloud-based warehouse management system).
- Facilitate requirements gathering and collaboration with prospective users and customers to understand and anticipate their needs product deliverables.
- Establish product roadmap for the engineering team based on the company vision and drive items to completion within established project timelines.
- Manage the product backlog and quickly prioritize based on changing requirements while ensuring stakeholders are informed of the changes.
- Monitor all stages of the product life cycle including requirements, design, and development.
- Lead the development and documentation of user stories.
- Work with project teams to ensure timely communication of new functionality and delivery of end‑user training.
- Track and manage outstanding issues and risk.
- Monitor and evaluate progress at each stage of a project.

- Track and report the status of development efforts against committed timelines and milestones.
- Provide hands‑on support and guidance for engineering, QA, and technical support teams.
- Work with cross‑functional teams and business subject matter experts.
- Communicate technical requirements, risks, and accomplishments to relevant stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education (DOE) or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
- 5 or more years of experience working in business analysis work.
- Highly effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work as a committed member of a cross‑functional team, sharing ideas and inputs from different perspectives in working towards delivering an exceptional product experience.
- Works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.
- Prior work experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or 3PL domain preferred.
- Proficient with project management tools (Jira and Confluence).
- Familiarity with basic database SQL structures preferred.
- Highly motivated, resourceful, and self‑directed.
- Working knowledge of product development architecture.
- Proficiency in the use of analytic tools.
- Ability to prioritize and drive execution effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Effective customer service abilities.
- Ability to communicate concise and accurate updates in both written and verbal methods.
- Ability to cope in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Exceptional presentation and leadership skills.
While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to see, hear, talk, write, read, stand, walk, bend over, and be alertat all times. The employee is frequently required to use hands to type, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. While infrequent, employee may need to visit warehouse locations in which employee may need to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.
The employee is occasionally required tosit,climb,balance, drive (vehicle), stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
