Summary
The ERP Administrator position will manage and maintain Fairbanks Scales IT systems and applications including the ERP system (
Infor Syteline
). Tasks include, but are not limited to: field and form changes, workflow creation, monitoring and updating user security roles, monitoring logs and applying vendor updates. This position will also help support the Fairbanks infrastructure including servers, network, Microsoft administration, etc.
Job Duties
- Responsible for the full lifecycle of ERP system (
Infor Syteline
), including configuration, form customization, and workflow mapping. - Performs database customizations in support of form and workflow modifications.
- Partners with leaders in operations, finance, engineering, and customer service to translate business needs into ERP solutions.
- Develops custom reporting and user dashboards to support real-time operational insights.
- Troubleshoots and resolves interface failures, escalating to vendors when necessary.
- Assists in supporting infrastructure, servers, networking, endpoint management and cybersecurity.
- Monitors and updates periodic releases/updates and works with business leaders to apply and test those releases in non-Prod environments prior to implementation.
- Creates and monitors Infor Support Tickets as needed.
- Provides hands-on support and training for end users.
- Documents technical SOPs, runbooks and administration procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications to effectively perform the job. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. (Additional requirements may be designated by position.)
- Must have two (2) years of system administration related experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of ERP user maintenance, permissions, and overall administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management practices preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender - Conditional Access Controls, etc. preferred.
- Experience in Microsoft Admin Center preferred.
- Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
- Knowledge of Cisco and Cisco Meraki Gateway and switch appliance knowledge and management experience.
- Understanding of troubleshooting utilities and tools, virus detection software.
- Critical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work with end users.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- General office conditions. Exposed to moderate noise levels.
- Required to use close vision and be able to focus.
- Regularly required to talk and hear; frequently required to sit, stand and bend at the knee and waist, and walk.
- Must be able to have repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement to type and work on computer.
- Must have finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination to work on computer, telephone, and related office equipment.
- Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
