Job Description:

  • Support and maintain a physical mobile and desktop device testing environment, providing hands‑on expertise in mobile automation, device configuration, and lab operations across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS platforms while working closely with QA automation and testing teams.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Hands‑on experience setting up and maintaining Appium servers.
  • Strong expertise with UIAutomator2 and XCUITest drivers.
  • Proven experience testing on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS platforms.
  • In‑depth knowledge of mobile device configuration including developer mode enablement, eSIM management, app side loading, and device management solutions.
  • Experience with automation frameworks based on Tosca and or Java.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a lab environment.
  • Comfortable working onsite and handling physical devices daily.
Experience:
  • Experience supporting mobile automation and physical device testing environments.
  • Experience maintaining and operating enterprise or large‑scale device labs.
  • Experience integrating mobile automation tools with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Experience collaborating with QA, automation, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up, configure, and maintain Appium servers for mobile automation testing.
  • Provide technical support for mobile automation drivers and frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot automation failures related to devices, drivers, and test infrastructure.
  • Perform hands‑on testing and validation on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS devices.
  • Ensure devices are configured, updated, and test‑ready at all times.
  • Configure and manage mobile devices including developer mode, eSIM changes, app side loading, and device management.
  • Maintain accurate device inventory, configurations, and documentation.
  • Support and maintain a physical device lab ensuring devices are operational, connected, and securely stored.
  • Coordinate device usage and availability with internal teams.
  • Diagnose and resolve device, automation, hardware, operating system, and connectivity issues.
Should Have:
  • Prior experience supporting enterprise‑level device labs.
  • Familiarity with device farm or lab management solutions.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
Skills:
  • Mobile automation and framework support.
  • Device configuration and management.
  • Physical lab operations and coordination.
  • Troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Qualification And

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant testing or automation certifications are a plus.
