The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the architecture, design, and strategy of the Select Quote hybrid infrastructure and application delivery platforms. Working within the Tech Ops organization, this role serves as a senior technical escalation point and cross‑functional contributor across network, application, and end‑user domains. The Enterprise Architect designs, documents, and implements hybrid and cloud‑based architecture that align with business objectives, cost governance, and operational excellence.

This role participates in the on‑call rotation and performs duties as assigned to support operational continuity.

• This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

• Lead IT innovation through continuous learning and improvement.
• Design infrastructure across hybrid environments including on‑prem and cloud platforms.
• Develop automation and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery.
• Engage directly with business units to translate strategic needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for major incident response and operational support.
• Execute as duties assigned to support enterprise operations or project‑based needs.

• Advanced knowledge of Terraform, AWS, GCP and Azure services.
• Proficient in CI/CD concepts, networking, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Ability to communicate complex solutions clearly to both technical and business audiences.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Experience with Dev Ops and infrastructure automation tools.

• 6+ years of experience working in an IT Infrastructure or related field.
• Experience designing hybrid and on‑prem environments with AWS, GCP and Azure.
• Experience leading deployment efforts and applying the AWS Well‑Architected Framework.
• Experience communicating value to business stakeholders.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) preferred

• Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
