TheOpportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and Execute Human Resources (HR) Strategies to support leadership in achievement of business objectives
- Provide executive level HR consultation by driving solutions for business needs
- Work collaboratively across parts of BV executive leadership and other COEs
- Provide employee relations support for the Construction organization
The role will require 25% travelling.

Functions in our group include safety, project field management, construction management, quality control, start‑up and decommissioning and field engineering.
- Provide executive level consultation to the Black & Veatch Construction business area.
- Creating and driving strategic programs

- Identifies, plans, executes critical HR goals
- Cultivates a partnering relationship with executive level leadership
- Consults and provides insights to leaders
- Is a change agent for implementing new HR programs, processes and/or initiatives
- Acts as liaison between division and HR functional areas.
- 8+ years progressive HR and/or Staffing experience
- Workforce planning experience required.
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related field;
Human Resources preferred; - Strong knowledge of HR programs, policies and procedures understanding of Human Resource Information System(s)
- Experience with supporting and coaching executive level leadership
- Excellent problem-solving skills (identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve)
- Ability to manage several projects of functional areas concurrently
- Strong long-term conceptual planning ability Business acumen and ability to understand business metrics and financials
- Experience developing and implementing HR procedures that drive solutions for the business
