Position: Benefits & Payroll Administrator

Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior-Level
Benefits & Payroll Administrator who will serve as a key contact for OMNI Outsourcing clients and our employees. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage day-to-day payroll operations, including weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll processing for multi-state clients, including related activities such as wage garnishments and payroll deductions.
  • Process and reconcile payments to third parties, including retirement contributions, payroll taxes, wage assignments, and garnishments.
  • Partner closely with clients to define, implement, and optimize payroll systems, processes, and procedures, while reviewing controls to help mitigate risk.
  • Support the setup and implementation of new payroll clients, ensuring a smooth and accurate transition.
  • Monitor and implement client benefit plans including oversight of open enrollment and ensure changes are made in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and their employees, providing guidance and support for payroll and benefits-related questions or issues.
  • Respond to ad hoc client requests with a high level of service and attention to detail.
  • Develop and refine payroll SOPs for clients to be consistent with OMNI processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience processing payroll and providing administration for employee benefits.
  • Prior experience working in an environment providing benefits and payroll services to multiple clients simultaneously preferred.
  • Comfortable working with HR systems and tools, including payroll, timekeeping, benefits enrollment, and other employee-focused technologies. Experience with Paylocity, Paycor, and Paycom beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
