The Talent and Brand Ambassador will lead full‑cycle recruiting efforts to support Virtus's growth strategy. This role partners closely with hiring managers and department leads to identify talent needs, source candidates, and ensure a seamless hiring experience. The Talent and Brand Ambassador will also serve as a brand ambassador, promoting Virtus's culture and values internally and externally. This is an on‑site role based at our Overland Park, KS headquarters, with approximately 10% travel required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Maintain and optimize applicant tracking systems (e.g., Lever).
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through proactive sourcing and networking.
  • Coordinate and participate in intake meetings, debriefs, and hiring team syncs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with HR and department heads on onboarding and transition planning.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness, and candidate satisfaction.
  • Represent Virtus at career fairs, networking events, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Engage with C‑suite and executive‑level stakeholders to align recruiting strategies with organizational goals.
  • Source and secure top‑performing candidates across all levels to support aggressive growth plans.
  • Act as a talent brand ambassador to elevate Virtus’s reputation as an employer of choice.
Qualifications & What Will Make You Stand Out:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in full‑cycle recruiting, preferably in a high‑growth or startup environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with recruiting tools such as Linked In Recruiter, Lever, or similar applicant tracking platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience working with C‑suite and executive leadership.
  • Experience recruiting for a wide range of roles, from entry‑level to executive.
  • Passion for people, culture, and organizational growth.
Physical Requirements:

The employee must be able to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk or hear frequently; and occasionally stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Must have close and distance vision.

Travel:

Approximately 10%.
